Headshot Mini Sessions are a quick and concise way to get a few photographs you might need for social media platforms such as Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, or Twitter. It's also a good way to get to know a photographer who you may want to work with on a larger scale. On average, a mini session takes about 10 minutes. We have a quick chat to get acquainted and for your photographer to let you know what to expect.

I get anxious before things like this? Is that okay?
It is perfectly normal to feel like this! Maybe for you, it's a new experience, or perhaps
you just don't like it when attention is drawn to you. That's why we chat when you get
here! It is my job to make you feel natural and confident. Leave the worries at the door.
Do I need to know how to pose?
The short answer is no. That is my job as well! I have been doing this for years and know
what looks good. Let me capture the right angles that put you in the best light. It's what I
do!
Can I use these pictures on my social media?
Of course! Not only is it allowed, it is encouraged! A lot of people consider this branding
and will have the same picture on LinkedIn as they do on Facebook. You are not required to tag us in your social media, but we appreciate it when you do! On Instagram our tag is @Kiss_My_Aperture and on Facebook @KissMyAperture.
How many outfits should I bring with me?
One to two outfits. As time is limited we can get a few looks with quick and easy outfits. Make it a simple change like a shirt and add a jacket for a variety of looks. Pulling a sweater over a shirt is another easy fast new look.
Is there anything I should bring to my session with me?
Besides your outfit, perhaps you want to use props such as a work badge, cellphone, laptop, or even a musical instrument. This will showcase your uniqueness!
Will this just be a shot of my head?
These will be mainly from the waist up with a few variations. We will smile, act seriously, or even try some natural, personal looks.
What is the turnaround time on receiving my photographs?
Typically, around one to two weeks for us to edit and proof photographs.
What if I can't decide and want more than the mini session photographs?
Not a problem! It happens frequently that people want more than the 2-3 images that come with a typical mini session. Chat with your photographer that you would like to purchase additional edited images once your proof gallery is delivered.
